The Kababaihan Organization is committed to protect and respect your personal data privacy in compliance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 and its Implementing Rules and Regulations.

When you register on our website, you entrust us with your personal information which we collect, use, process, transfer and/or store accordingly. When you electronically submit to us your inquiries, requests, complaints and other concerns, you authorize us to use and process your personal information.

We understand our responsibility in maintaining the confidentiality, integrity and availability of your personal information against any incidents or breaches. In view thereof, we shall adopt organizational, technical and security measures against the unauthorized or unlawful use, loss, alteration, destruction, sharing of or access to your personal Information which are transmitted, stored or processed. Under no circumstance will the Kababaihan allow the selling of personal data.

For registration and log-in

Collection, use and processing of your personal information are made in view of the following purposes:

1. To provide access to the various Programs available for Kababaihan and their dependents;
2. To provide assistance to Kababaihan in distressed condition by endorsing their concerns to appropriate government agencies; and
3. To provide legal advice (referrals and consultation) to Kababaihan and their dependents; and
4. To be able to join the discussion and forum.

We collect the following personal information from you after you register:

• Full name
• Email Address
• Phone Number; and
• Birthday

We use Google Analytics and a third-party service provider to analyze the web traffic data for us. The following web traffic data are analyzed:

• Your IP address
• The characters you input
• The search terms you used
• The pages and internal links accessed on our site
• The date and time
• Web browser

For processing inquiries, requests, complaints, and other concerns

We collect the information you provide, documents and photos you upload and/or comment when using our website. This pertains to the contents of the message relative to your inquiry, requests, complaints and other concerns you submit and comments you leave.

You may also click the provided link on Facebook Messenger and Instagram if you have private concerns, inquiries, and complaints.

Each Ticket contains a form which requires you to provide the following:

• Name
• Email Address
• Phone Number
• Birthday
• Message

When you submit the Ticket or leave a comment to any of our posts, you consent to the collection, use, processing transfer and/or and storage of the content and message you provide and upload.

Use

Your collected personal information will be utilized for documentation and processing purposes within the Kababaihan Organization. The use thereof shall enable us to properly address the inquiries, requests, complaints and concerns, forward them to appropriate internal units for action and response, and provide you with appropriate updates in a legitimate format and in an orderly and timely manner.

Protection Measures and Retention

We have set in place reasonable and appropriate processes and technologies to safeguard your personal information.

Only authorized personnel have access to your personal information, the exchange of which will be facilitated through email and hard copy. They will be stored in a database for ten (10) years after your inquiries, requests and concerns are acted upon.

We will retain your personal data for a period not longer than ten (10) year/s, or for as long as needed or permitted in light of the purpose(s) for which it was obtained and as outlined in this Privacy Policy. Personal data collected will be retained using the following criteria: (i) for as long as necessary for the fulfillment of the purposes for which the data was obtained, (ii) for the establishment, pursuance, and defense of legal claims, or (iii) for any legitimate business purposes, or as provided by law.

After ten (10) year/s or if the purpose for which the data was collected no longer exists, all hard and soft copies of personal information will be disposed and destroyed, through secured means; your physical records shall be disposed of through shredding, while digital files shall be anonymized.

We will take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify personal information if it is no longer needed for any purpose.

We do not share your personal information with companies, organizations or individuals outside of Kababaihan except with your consent, for external processing, and for legal reasons.

We may share your personal information with authorized personnel and third-party service providers, but only the information needed for them to deliver specific objectives or facilitate specific processes. These personnel and providers include:

• Authorized personnel, including but not limited to officers and staff, so that they may meet your needs and concerns;
